Dallas Medical Society

Office Building

This contemporary building was designed for the offices of the Dallas County Medical Society with supporting meeting space for their membership.  The design intent was to create in plan a symmetrical footprint as if it were a human body, thus referencing the medical profession’s commitment to healing.

Bisecting the building ’s entrance lobby axis, administrative offices occupy one wing with the opposite side providing open meeting rooms.  Broken pediments are positioned on each end of the design with continuous skylights punctuating the building’s spine.
